A third of this aid is already distributed across regions.

Between the 2nd and 12th of March, Ukraine received over 40 tonnes of humanitarian aid, informed Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal. 

"Between the 2nd and 12th of March, Ukraine received over 40 tonnes of humanitarian aid. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Ukrzaliznytsya (Ukrainian railways) are coordinating logistics. A third is already delivered to the regions and distributed according to the needs," said Shmygal.

The Prime Minister added that the government approved a 50.8 billion UAH increase to the state budget's Reserve Fund. 12.5 bn UAH earmarked for the bonuses for army service members, additional 3.9 bn UAH - to food expenses of Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Shmygal assured that Ukraine has sufficient food reserves for the upcoming months. The government maintains its support plan for planting this year's crop.

Today, after the shelling, the fire destroyed a food storage facility in the Kyiv region. There were no casualties.
