Today, on March 13, the Avdiivka Coke Plant of the Metinvest Group came under massive bombing. The missiles hit the first and second coke shops, resin and coal preparation second shops, and the warehouse.
As a result of the bombing, no one was injured, the press office of the Metinvest Group informed Interfax-Ukraine.
The company clarified that the factory thermal power plant, which supplies heat to Avdiivka, has stopped due to the bombing.
Earlier, due to active hostilities in Ukraine, Avdiivka Coke Plant partially stopped its production facilities.
Avdiivka Coke Plant is the largest coke plant in Europe. It is the primary producer of coke in Ukraine.
Avdiivka Coke Plant is part of the Metinvest Group, owned by businessman Rinat Akhmetov.
