Russian troops conducted a MLRSs "Grad" attack on Vysokopillia in the Kherson region. The former head of the Kherson Region State Administration, Borys Silenkov, reported it.
"Today, at about 16:00, the orcs hit the village of Vysokopillya with MLRSs "Grad." There was a direct hit in the kindergarten; the gas transmission network was out of order. There is no electricity. The houses are damaged," the statement reads.
According to Silenkov, this is the only community in the region that has openly joined the fight against the occupiers. "For two days, they defended the Ukrainian land from the Russian fascists, who attacked from Novovorontsovskyi and Velykoalexandrivskyi districts. Today is the third day, and they did not surrender Vysokopillya," Silenkov wrote.
The former member of Ukrainian Parliament Serhiy Khlan reported that occupiers call deputies of the Kherson regional council with the offer to cooperate. Khlan stated that he refused the offer and addressed his colleagues to do the same. According to him, the russians want to hold a referendum on creating the "People's Republic of Kherson."
