"Due to the successful actions of our soldiers, an enemy who tried to attack in the Volnovakha direction was detected in time. As a result of the battle, 4 infantry fighting vehicles and up to two infantry platoons were destroyed," OTG "East" said.
During the day, Ukrainian aircraft and artillery inflicted fire damage on clusters of military equipment and enemy columns.
"Artillery fire has destroyed the supply column, namely more than 12 units of vehicles," the military said.
After suffering heavy losses, the battalion tactical groups of the 336th Separate Marine Brigade and the 11th Separate Assault Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces retreated.
During two days in the Chernihiv region UAF destroyed up to 80 units of enemy equipment.
