Ukrainian air defence forces liquidated a Russian Su-34 aircraft.
The 1st Severia Tank Brigade reported it on their Facebook page.
"Another Su-34 from the occupier's army will not harm civilians. Believe in your defenders! We are going to the victory together!" noted the brigade.
The Su-34 is a Soviet all-weather, twin-seater fighter-bomber developed by the Sukhoi State Security Committee. The Su-34 is designed to carry out accurate missile and bomb strikes on enemy ground targets in operational and tactical depths and to hit enemy air targets. It can develop a speed of up to 1.9 thousand km / h. at an altitude of up to 14.6 km.
Russia's total combat losses from 24 February to 12 March are more than 12,000 people and 362 tanks.
According to a Pentagon official, Ukrainians have used a very creative approach to defending themselves and using their aircraft.
In the Sumy region, the territorial defence forces fighters destroyed the occupiers' three tanks and self-propelled artillery.
