Zelenskyy stressed that the Russians are attempting to repeat the "sad experience of the formation of pseudo-republics" in the Kherson region, blackmailing local leaders and deputies, searching for someone who can be bribed.

The President added that he reiterated to Ukrainian partners abroad that they should do more for Ukraine on every occasion.

Finally, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he had signed decrees awarding 106 Ukrainian service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with state awards, who had courageously shown themselves in the battles for the independence of our state. 17 of them posthumously.

He signed a decree to award the title of Hero of Ukraine with the "Golden star' medal to these soldiers:

  • Chief Sergeant Vasich Serhii Viktorovych. Postmortem. He bravely defended our positions in the Kyiv region. Destroyed enemy equipment and a significant amount of enemy human resources.

  • Soldier (higher grade) Parkhomuk Vitalii Vasylovych. Postmortem. During the counterattack on the enemy near the town of Makariv, he inflicted significant losses on the enemy and died heroically defending his comrades.

  • Soldier Mrochka Kostiantyn Vasyliovych. Postmortem. He fought bravely against the overwhelming forces of the enemy. Unfortunately, thanks to his effective actions, the occupiers suffered painful losses.

  • Soldier Svynchuk Oleh Anatoliovych. Postmortem. He heroically performed his duty in the battle against the overwhelming forces of the enemy. Until recently, he helped his colleagues.

  • Sergeant Khanin Andrii Pavovych. Postmortem. Defending Volnovakha in the Donetsk region, he destroyed an enemy tank and about 10 enemy units. During the battle, when he was wounded, he helped his wounded colleagues and did his duty to the last moment.

  • Sergeant Derusovii Inna Mykolaivna. Postmortem. Since February 24, the senior combat medic has been performing tasks in Okhtyrka, Sumy region. She saved more than 10 service members, risking her life. She died from artillery shelling by Russian troops, helping the wounded. The first woman was the Hero of Ukraine, posthumously awarded this title.

Awarding the title of Hero of Ukraine with the "Golden star' medal:

  • Lieutenant (upper grade) Khutusul Volomydyr Oleksandrovych. Thanks to his heroic actions in the Kherson region, managed to destroy 25 units of enemy equipment and about 300 occupiers.

  • Lieutenant (upper grade) Chornyi Volodymyr Volodymyrovych. Thanks to his skilful actions in defense of Volnovakha in the Donetsk region, about 50 enemy people, a T-72 tank, were killed, and 5 occupiers were taken, prisoner.
