US President Joe Biden does not want to start World War III. Therefore, he is limited in military aid to Ukraine: if an American pilot knocks down a Russian pilot, it will mean the beginning of the Third World War. Former US Ambassador to Moscow Michael McFaul stated this in an interview to Ukraine 24 channel.
"There are many dissenters, you know. There is a big debate in America. There is criticism of Biden on this issue, but this is his position so far," said the diplomat.
Earlier, the American edition of The Wall Street Journal published an editorial, which noted that Biden personally vetoed the transfer of aircraft to Ukraine, fearing to provoke Putin.
