"Ice broke, the process begun," EU Ambassador on Ukraine's membership

Millions of vehicles, medical kits, tents, blankets and sleeping bags are already reaching Ukraine," Maasikas said.Second, the EU protects those who are escaping Putin's terror, he noted. "The EU for the first time activated its temporary protection directly. It will help Ukrainians coming to the EU, by offering welfare and medical treatment, access to job markets and education," he said.Matti Maasikas added that the first tranche of the new EU macro-financial assistance to Ukraine of 300mln euros has already reached Ukraine.
