On Sunday, 13 March, at an extraordinary session, deputies of the Melitopol City Council addressed the governments of NATO member states on the need to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine.
The Deputy Head of the President's Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, published the corresponding address in his telegram channel.
Melitopol deputies also appealed to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to release Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov and to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova to prosecute Halyna Danylchenko under the article "Treason" for her attempt to create occupation administration in Melitopol.
"Melitopol is and will be Ukrainian! Ivan Fedorov, hold on! We are with you!" Kyrylo Tymoshenko emphasized.
