The Prime Ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia will visit Kyiv today

The heads of the governments of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia will pay a visit to Kyiv on 15 March. They will meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal.

The statement on the government website of Poland said that Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Deputy Prime Minister Jaroslav Kaczynski, Prime Minister Petr Fiala and Prime Minister Janez Janša would represent the Polish, Czech, and Slovenian governments, respectively. 

"The governments organized the visit in consultation with European Council President Charles Michel and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The purpose of the visit is to confirm the EU's unconditional support for Ukraine's sovereignty and independence," the statement said.

In addition, representatives of Poland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic are expected to present a broad support package for Ukraine and its citizens.

It will be the first visit of high-ranking officials from partner countries to Kyiv during Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
