Limits on still water have been imposed in Chernihiv, which is surrounded by Russian troops. No more than 10 liters per person can be released.
This was reported by press service of Municipal Enterprise "Chernihivvodokanal".
They note that city's utilities continue to supply still water to all districts of Chernihiv. Unfortunately, the number of containers for water is limited.
"Because of this, for a social protection of city's population, starting from March 24, 2022, restrictions are imposed on still water distribution. Water will be poured in the amount of 10 liters per person," - «Chernihivvodokanal" said. The company emphasizes that this is a forced measure of social protection. Water is not poured in PET bottles of 1, 1.5 and 2 liters. «Bucket is the best container for water," the Municipal Enterprise press service said.
On March 23, Russian occupation forces shelled one of food companies in Chernihiv. The shell hit the engine room and damaged the main ammonia pipeline.
