The key battles of the last night, according to information as of 6:30 am, took place in Kyiv region. The adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Vadym Denysenko reported live on Rada TV channel.
“There were attacks in the area of Vasylkiv, Bila Tserkva. Very serious fights took place in the area of Baryshivka, and traditionally in the area of Bucha-Hostomel-Irpin,” he said.
According to Denysenko, the Ukrainian army managed to repel many attacks, destroy 12 tanks, several planes, more than 10 units of armored vehicles, and at least several hundred of enemy military personnel over last 24 hours.
“We hold defernse and start counter-attacks,” he said.
Ukrainian Armed Forces will provide more detailed information later.
According to the General Staff information, over the last 24 hours, 9 enemy attacks were repelled; 12 tanks, 9 artillery systems, 2 planes and 2 drones were destroyed. The enemy lost more than 200 military staff.
