In the last 24 hours there have been no significant changes in the enemy tactics. The enemy focused its efforts on replenishing losses, regrouping and strengthening existing units, and using artillery and aircrafts to strike both military objects and civilian infrastructure. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational report as of midnight on March 25.
The General Staff noted that according to the preliminary information the enemy moved additional artillery units to the Ukrainian border.
"In addition to ground and air military campaigns, the enemy is trying to continue preparations for the introduction of Russian rubles in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, to replace hryvnia. In the Kharkiv region, the enemy
restricts the movement of civilians by setting up a network of checkpoints," the statement said.
Also, the occupants keep trying to use Rosguard units to suppress the resistance of the citizens of the Ukrainian cities of Kherson, Henichesk, Melitopol, where about 90% of the population are against the Russian invaders.
Volyn direction: The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in this direction. The possibility of involvement of separate units of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus in the aggression against Ukraine remains probable.
Polissya direction: the enemy continued to carry out fire attacks on our troops in several areas.
Siversk direction: the enemy concentrated its main efforts on maintaining the previously occupied regions. They continued to strengthen their positions and carry out fire attacks on several units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Slobozhanske direction: near the city of Sumy, the main efforts of the enemy were focused on consolidating and retaining the previously occupied territories; nearby the city of Kharkiv the enemy continues attempts to block our units and attempts to carry out demonstrative actions, attacks and damages the infrastructure and defense facilities of the city. They are increasing forces in the direction of Izyum by moving additional units and equipment.
Donetsk direction: the enemy continues to regroup in order to resume offensive operations with the end goal of reaching the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
South Bug direction: they are taking measures to restore combat capability, replenish supplies, in order to prepare for the resumption of offensive operations.
"Ukraine's defense forces continue to defend Ukraine both on the ground and in the air, gradually liberating it from the Russian occupants," the General Staff said.
