In Kharkiv region, Russian aggressors detained Balaklia Deputy Mayor Serhiy Poltorak and Oleg Bludov, the head of the Department of Civil Protection and Cooperation with Law Enforcement Bodies. Mayor Ivan Stolbovyy was also probably detained.
This was announced by the head of Kharkiv Region Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov.
"The Russian occupiers are terrorizing the civilian population again. Today in Balakliya, the Russians detained Deputy Mayor Serhiy Poltorak and the Head of the Department of Civil Defense and Cooperation with Law Enforcement Bodies Oleg Bludov. There is information that the Mayor Ivan Stolbovyy has also been detained, neither he nor his family could have been contacted for two days," Sinegubov wrote in the Telegram channel.
The head of the Region Military Administration reminded that the Head of the Tsyrkunivka community, Mykola Sikalenko, is still being held captive by the invaders.
According to him, the regional authorities are currently cooperating with the Office of the president and Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk on the release of prisoners.
Russian invaders are trying to bypass the city of Izyum in the Kharkiv region to send troops to Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
