Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov believes that opening additional fronts in Russian-occupied territories would help Ukraine fight the Russian attack.

“After Nagorno-Karabakh imposed martial law today, the events started to escalate. “Bayraktars” are not only destroying Russians in Ukraine now but also are will use Nagorno-Karabakh. Armenia appealed to Russia to supply Russian troops. But the truth is, Russia withdrew its troops from that territory and sent them to Ukraine last week. We believe that it is highly unlikely Russia will be able to provide military assistance to Armenia as promised earlier “, said Danilov.

In addition, Danilov mentioned that Russia had begun military exercises after Japan's declaration of Japan's sovereignty over four islands in southern Kurils. The number of Russian manpower in the region is very low as most of them were previously sent to Ukraine.

"It is still unknown how this situation will unfold. Opening additional fronts in the Russian-occupied territories of other countries would greatly help Ukraine ", - said the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.

Danilov also said that Georgia’s position as of today "not very correct, to put it mildly."

"Would have been interesting if both the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and Georgia considered claiming their territories back … Moreover, Poland has not yet officially made claims regarding the sovereignty over Kaliningrad region. It would definitely be helpful to us, given Russians would be very much engaged with something else rather than only destroying our cities and villages, killing our children and women'', - the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council added.

On March 7, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida reminded Russia that Japan considers the southern Kuril Islands to be Japan’s ancestral lands that are covered by Japan’s sovereignty. On March 21, Russia unilaterally withdrew from peace talks on the status of the Kuril Islands with Japan and later began military exercises in the region.

On March 25, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the line of contact in the direction of the village of Parukh, Askeran region, according to Yerevan. Russian "peacekeepers" were supposed to ensure peace in the region, but they have failed to prevent an escalation. Armenia plans to investigate the actions of the Russian military and appealed to Russia to increase the number of military in the region.

On March 26, the former commander of Poland's ground forces, Waldemar Skrzypczak, said the Kaliningrad region was “under Russian occupation since 1945” and that he thinks the region is part of Polish territory.
