Today, President of the Riigikogu of Estonia Jüri Ratas, Head of the Saeima of Latvia Ināra Mūrniece, and Head of the Seimas of Lithuania Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen have arrived in Kyiv. This was reported by the Government portal.

In particular, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal met with them.

Among other, the parties discussed Ukraine's accession to the European Union.

“Ukrainians have proved that they are part of the European family. The government, for its part, is speeding up all bureaucratic procedures to put this on paper”, the Prime Minister said.

During the meeting, the Head of the Ukrainian Government called on Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to join the reconstruction of Ukraine. He informed about the establishment of specific funds: the Ukrainian Army Support and Humanitarian Aid Fund, the External Debt Service Fund, the Small and Medium Business Restart Fund, and the Destroyed Infrastructure Restoration Fund.

“Thus, the Prime Minister of Ukraine called for disconnecting all Russian banks from SWIFT, freezing all bank and correspondent accounts of Russia in civilized countries, including Russia in the FATF blacklist, imposing an embargo on trade in russian raw (oil, gas, metals), closing ports of the EU member states for the aggressor's vessels", the statement said.

We remind, that the parliaments of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania were the first to approve a decision calling to close the sky over Ukraine and provide humanitarian corridors.
