The G7 countries plan to warn President Volodymyr Putin against the use of chemical or nuclear weapons in Ukraine, as Russia's invasion has come to a deadlock.

G7 leaders also plan to state that they will continue to impose "severe consequences" on Russia, fully complying with the sanctions that countries have already imposed and are ready to apply additional measures.

"We assigned to the relevant ministers in a purposeful initiative to control the full implementation of sanctions and coordinate responses related to evasion, including gold transactions on the part of the Central Bank of Russia," - said in the draft of the joint statement obtained by Bloomberg.

The G7 countries also plan to call on other states to apply sanctions and abstain from providing support to Russia.

"Moreover, we urge all countries not to provide military or other assistance to Russia to help continue its aggression in Ukraine," – noted in the statement draft.

G7 leaders also plan to promise assistance to states that want to get rid of dependence on Russian oil.

"We will provide safe alternative and stable supplies, as well as act in solidarity and closely, coordinated, in the event of possible supply disruptions," - said in the draft. Leaders also call on oil and gas producing countries to increase supplies.
