Possibility of Russia's use of nuclear weapons becomes more real - Japanese PM

The prospect of using nuclear weapons by the Russian Federation as of now "becoming more and more real."

This was stated by the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, reports Reuters.

Kishida stated this, welcoming the visit of the U.S. Ambassador to Hiroshima, the first city in the world to be the victim of a nuclear attack.

"When the possibility of Russia's use of nuclear weapons becomes more and more real, I believe that the Ambassador's visit to Hiroshima and his experience of observing nuclear reality will be a strong message to the international community," - Kishida said.

Earlier, on March 26, the President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a video message at a forum in Qatar that the nuclear status of a particular state should not be a "permission for injustice" against other states.

As stated by the former commander of NATO Allied Forces in Europe, General Wesley Clark, Putin can give an order on the use of tactical nuclear weapons in Poland.

Earlier, the United States warned that Russia might use chemical weapons in Ukraine, accusing our state of doing so.
