This afternoon in Poland, I received a briefing on the humanitarian response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The United States is prepared to provide an additional $1 billion for humanitarian assistance and welcome up to 100,000 Ukrainians and others fleeing Russian aggression.

He added that his country is ready to "invite up to 100,000 Ukrainians and others who are escaping from Russian aggression."

Earlier, on March 25, Joe Biden began a two-day visit to Poland. He has already met with representatives of international NGOs that help Ukrainian refugees.

Earlier it became known that Ukrainians who came to Poland with their children from February 24 will be able to receive financial assistance from the state.
