In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the russian military used cluster munitions on March 31st.
They fired from Tornado-C volley fire systems at two towns in the Kryvyi Rih district, which was reported by Interferax-Ukraine with reference to the Prosecutor General's Office.
"Three missiles were equipped with prohibited cluster munitions," stated by the prosecutor's office.
Specialists de-mined and neutralized more than 32 cluster munitions.
There are no military facilities in the territory shelled by the Russians. The shelling posed a direct threat to the lives and health of civilians and was contrary to the norms of international humanitarian law like the Convention on the Prohibition of Cluster Munitions.
This is not the first time the enemy has used cluster munitions in shelling peaceful Ukrainians. In particular in March the russians were using them during the shelling of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region.
