President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said about it in an interview with the American TV channel FoxNews.
"The victory of the truth is the victory of Ukraine and Ukrainians. The question is when this will end. This is a deep question. This is a painful question. Other than victory, the Ukrainian people will not accept any result,” - he said.
Answering a question about the possibility of giving way to some Ukrainian territories for the sake of signing a peace treaty, Zelenskyy said: "We do not trade our territory. The issue of territorial integrity and sovereignty is not discussed. "
He stressed that he expects Ukraine's security commitments from the world's leading countries, and also expressed his conviction that Ukraine can make NATO much stronger.
"NATO does not want to accept us. I think it's a mistake because if we joined NATO, we would make the Alliance a lot stronger. We are not a weak country. We do not propose to strengthen us at the expense of NATO countries... We are the extra force, the driving force. I think Ukraine is an important component of the European continent" - Zelenskyy said.
The President added that if Ukraine is not accepted by NATO, then at least the member states will help with heavy weapons.
"Just give us rockets, give us planes, you can't give us F-18 or F-19 or what you have, give us old Soviet planes... That's all. Give them to me. Give me something that I can protect my country," - Zelenskyy said.
Earlier, public figures of the Czech Republic want to nominate Zelenskyy for the Nobel Peace Prize.
