Odesa was attacked from the air. Fires were reported in some areas, the city council of Odesa wrote on its official Telegram account.
Some missiles were shot down by air defense system. The black smoke is seen over the city. The authorities ask the Odesa residents to close the windows as well as not to post photos and videos of the attack and its consequences on social media.
The speaker of the Odesa regional state administration Serhiy Bratchuk wished “good morning to the bad bloggers who shot morning videos and posted it on a social network with geolocation” and wrote that fellow men have already left for them.
The raid warning lasted in Odesa, Mykolayiv, Vinnytsia and several other regions from 4.20 am. At around 6 am, there were reports that explosions were heard in Odesa.
