United States will help Ukraine get Soviet-made T-72 tanks. They will be delivered in a few days.

T-72 tanks of various modifications are in service with the armed forces of Ukraine, Russia, and several dozen other countries, including NATO members.
New York Times reported yesterday that the US government was negotiating with NATO allies the handover of soviet-made tanks to Ukraine. According to the NYT interlocutors, such talks were the result of an appeal of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who called on NATO to provide Ukraine with 1% of its tanks on March 24.
As previously reported, Ukrainian army has more tanks now than before the war began, because they are constantly being captured from russians.
