Two hundred eighty people were buried in a mass grave in the town of Bucha in Kyiv region.
Bucha Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk told about it, RBC-Ukraine reports.
According to him, the bodies of murdered people, some just 14 years old, are lying on the streets.
"All these people were shot and killed in the back of the head," said Anatoliy Fedoruk.
Many killed wore white bandages, indicating that they were civilians.
In addition, children's carriages were set up in front of tanks in the village of Novyy Bykiv.
"Cases of children being used as cover are recorded in Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts," said Lyudmila Denysova, the human rights ombudswoman.
As of April 1, 153 Ukrainian children died as a result of armed aggression by russia. The bombing and shelling damaged 859 educational institutions, 83 of them were completely destroyed.
