During today’s shelling of Poltava region, the Kremenchug oil refinery plant and depots of fuel and lubricants came under enemy fire.
The Head of Poltava Regional State Administration, Dmitry Lunin, posted on Telegram that the russians destroyed the industrial infrastructure.
The plant has stopped working, and rescuers continue to extinguish the fire.
“Fortunately, it did not lead to an environmental catastrophe; the State Emergency Service monitors the situation. As of now, several people have received burns, but their lives are not in danger,” he said.
Lunin urged the residents of Poltava region not to line up for gasoline and avoid creating an artificial deficit.
