Openly supporting Putin, Hungary is in opposition to the whole of Europe.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated this in his address on Saturday evening.

"I want to address another person who does not seem to understand fully what is happening and what we are going through. Not only in Ukraine but in the whole of Europe. I want to address the Prime Minister of Hungary. He is the only one in Europe who openly supports Mr. Putin, - he said. - We did not ask official Budapest for anything special. We didn't even get what everyone else was doing! Doing for the sake of peace. We have not received the vital transit for defense aid; we have not seen moral leadership. We have not seen any effort to stop the war! "

According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the whole of Europe is trying to stop the war and restore peace.

"Then why is official Budapest is in opposition to the whole of Europe, to all civilized countries?" For what?" - The President of Ukraine asked.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also noted that the Ukrainian people support the Hungarian people and the Hungarian people support the Ukrainians.

"We value peace equally; we value freedom equally. It will always be like this. We will always be good neighbours. And I am convinced that our national minorities should be the bridges that unite us even more, - he said. - Politicians leave. And the truth remains. That's what I'm talking about - the truth. I always say what I think. When I say Hungary, I mean Hungary. If it's a war, I call it a war, not a "special operation." If this is a threat to Europe, then I call it a threat to the whole of Europe. This is called honesty, something Mr. Orban lacks. He may have lost it somewhere between his contacts with Moscow."

The Prime Minister of Hungarian, Viktor Orban, said that although Hungary condemned russia's attack on Ukraine, it would not support sanctions that would include a ban on russian energy imports. According to him, the Hungarian economy cannot function without russian oil and gas.

Hungary also did not allow the transit of weapons to Ukraine through its territory.
