President of Moldova Maia Sandu has declared April 4th a day of mourning for all those killed in Ukraine. This is how the head of the neighboring state reacted to the information about the atrocities of the Russian army in Bucha in the Kyiv region.

"It is impossible to watch the atrocities in Bucha and other Ukrainian cities. Shocked at the brutality against civilians," Sandu wrote on Twitter.

The President stressed that Moldova strongly condemns the crimes of the russian occupiers and russia's illegal and unprovoked war against Ukraine.

"Moldova declares tomorrow a day of mourning for all lives lost in Ukraine," she added.

Sandu explained the refusal to join the sanctions against russia by Moldova's dependence on russian energy.

President Volodymyr Zelensky invited Merkel and Sarkozy to visit Bucha and see the consequences of russia's 14-year policy of concessions.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba called on the mission of the International Criminal Court to come to Bucha for the evidence of committed war crimes by russians.
