Ukrainians should not return to liberated areas just yet - deputy defence minister

As of Saturday evening, raids to identify and destroy the enemy are coming to an end in the Kyiv region. No enemy has been identified today.

This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar.

According to her, citizens are advised to refrain from returning to the liberated settlements, as shelters, basements and storage facilities are being inspected for the presence of sabotage groups.

"Demining is also underway. The enemy has left many mines and unfortunately there are tragic cases of mine explosions," she added.

The head of the humanitarian headquarters of Kyiv region Oleksiy Kuleba said that a curfew is being introduced in the region for the purpose of demining, which will take more than 10 days.

He also urged residents of Kyiv settlements not to return to their homes in a hurry and not to endanger their lives.

"We all want to go home. However, the territories of Kyiv region liberated from the occupiers are still dangerous," Oleksiy Kuleba noted.

Previously today Hanna Malyar reported that the whole Kyiv region is liberated from the russian invaders.
