A large number of Russian troops entered the territory of the Konotop district of the Sumy region from the territory of Russia. This was reported by the press service of the Sumy Region Military Administration.

It is also reported that the enemy has formed a notional "corridor" through which there is a constant movement of military equipment from Kiev and Chernihiv regions in the opposite direction to Russia.

"They are very afraid of the locals and our military, so they open chaotic fire on people who appear near this equipment or along the movement of columns," the Region Military Administration said.

In addition, the administration said the occupiers were shelling homes and civilians.
