Soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine forcibly removed from the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant to the territory of russia (Smolensk) and Belarus (Bragin), as reported in the Telegram-channel of NNEGC "Energoatom".
Energoatom explained that the wife of one of the captivated soldiers shared the information about possible locations of Ukrainian soldiers.
"According to her statement, Ukrainian soldiers are deprived of food and water. There is little information about their health condition, most likely the prisoners need medical assistance, which is not provided to them. This is a grave breach of the Geneva Convention'', - Energoatom.
The company said that the families of the National Guard soldiers "concerned about the inhumane treatment of prisoners of war and demand that the prisoners be returned home as soon as possible".
Russian troops occupying Ukraine's Chernobyl nuclear power plant and other facilities in the Chornobyl zone on 24 February began to leave and move toward Belarus on 31 March. Currently, only a few russian soldiers remain at the station.
