The town of Borodyanka in the Kyiv region is without water supply, gas and electricity. The situation in the surrounding villages is also difficult - there is a lack of food and basic necessities.

"It is impossible to get there as usual, the bridge is blown up. It is possible only by forests, fields, and bypass roads. It is very long and dangerous," said LB.ua photojournalist Maksym Trebukhov, who went to Borodyanka with Ukrainian volunteers of the Red Cross Emergency Response Team.

"The central street is full of remnants of equipment, all the facades of houses are broken. It is clear that there was a fight. Also in the city center houses were destroyed by aircraft. They look at the monument of Taras Shevchenko, all in bullet holes. The russians clearly tried to shoot the monument”, correspondent said.

An anesthesiologist, a traumatologist and a surgeon, as well as three nurses remained at the hospital in Borodyanka. They help the victims as much as they can.

"Toilet paper, diapers, hygiene products are just worth their weight in gold. People have nothing," he said.

Earlier it was reported that about 200 people in Borodyanka disappeared. Rescuers and law enforcement officers are currently working there.
