The worst situation with the victims of russian war crimes in the Kyiv region is observed in Borodianka. The Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova reported about it on air, writes Ukrayinska Pravda.
"We can talk meaningfully about the Kyiv region, because we got access to it yesterday ... In fact, the worst situation with human victims is in Borodianka. I think we will talk about Borodyanka separately. There is plenty to talk about," she said.
Borodianka of Bucha district has been captured by the russians since the first days of the war. The enemy razed it to the ground, striking with a variety of weapons. On 1 April, it was liberated from the invaders.
After clearing the territories of the Kyiv region from the occupiers, the scale of the atrocities they committed against civilians became clear. Against children, women, the elderly, men - all without exception.
According to preliminary data the number of civilian casualties in Bucha is hundreds. 280 people were found in one of the mass graves alone. As of yesterday, 410 bodies of civilians killed by russians were taken out of the Kyiv region.
