The losses of the russian occupation forces are so high that the military hospitals of russia and belarus cannot receive more wounded.
This statement is made in the summary report of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as of 6 pm on April 4.
Despite this, the command of the russian army only twice dared to announce information about the loss of its personnel.
“...periodically we learn about the losses of units and subdivisions of the occupiers. According to available information, the losses of the 20th motoriz rifle division (Kamyshin, Volgograd region) of the 8th General Army of the Southern Military District, in particular: the 33rd, 255th, 294th motor rifle regiments, which have returned to their permanent positions, accounted for up to 40% of its personnel, weapons and military equipment. As a result, a significant part of the servicemen who were lucky enough to return are trying to resign,” the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of Ukraine announced.
In the Kursk region, the medical staff of the central district hospital in the settlement of Glushkovo was transferred to intensified sifts. This is because from March 29 to April 2, from the territory of Sumy region, about a hundred wounded occupiers were admitted to the hospital.
The General Staff mentions that in Izyum, following significant losses of units of the 237th tank regiment and the 752nd motor rifle regiment of the 3rd motor rifle division, the russians had to set up a field hospital in the local school.
“In the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia region, in the town of Polohy, servicemen of the armed forces of the russian federation seized and mined the territory of the central district hospital. Staff and patients were alerted not to return to the hospital,” – reported the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The russian military leadership is trying to refill the losses of officers at the expense of calling to duty officers of higher military educational institutions, according to the Ukrainian General Staff. The military academy of communications in St. Petersburg has initiated an urgent training of officers to fill in “vacancies” in military units.
As for the situation at the front, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the following:
In the Siversk direction, the liquidation of the consequences of the activities of the russian occupation forces continues
In Slobozhanshchyna, in the city of Izyum, the aggressor’s army carries out filtration measures and forcibly deports residents to the russian federation
Fighting continues in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region. Around Nova Kakhovka, the enemy increased control measures at checkpoints. The invaders also detained civilians and forced them into engineering equipping for their positions. Cases of illegal seizure of vehicles from the population have become more frequent.
“Ukraine’s defense forces continue to push back the enemy and liberate the temporarily occupied territories,” the General Staff said.
Earlier, the Ukrainian command said that as of the 40th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the russian army, which boasts the title of the second strongest in the world, has lost more manpower and equipment than the whole armies of other countries.
