Denys Shmyhal, together with the President of the European Commission, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Prime Minister of Slovakia, visited the town of Bucha in the Kyiv region, Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram.
“Showed the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, High Representative of the European Union, Josep Borrell, and Prime Minister of Slovakia, Eduard Heger, the atrocities the russian forces committed against the civilian Ukrainian,” the Ukrainian Prime Minister wrote.
Shmyhal stressed that “we will never forgive the enemy for these crimes” and noted that together with Europe, they are working “to stop the aggressor as soon as possible.”
On April 5, European Commission Chief Spokesperson, Eric Mamer, announced that Ursula von der Leyen and Josep Borrell would visit Kyiv this week to meet with President Zelenskyy before the “Stand Up For Ukraine” rally in Warsaw on Saturday.
