Talks with russia are going although the emotional background of the negotiation process is difficult.
It was stated by Mykhailo Podoliak, the Advisor of the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, one of the participants in the talks with the rf.
“In brief. The talks are going extremely hard. Online in working subgroups. But they are going on. It is obvious that the emotional background of today’s negotiation process is hard. It is oblivious that Ukraine’s delegation works exclusively within the frames which are pro-Ukrainian and transparent,” said Podoliak.
He added that Russia tries to put pressure on the negotiation process of the talks.
“It is evident that the russia’s party sticks to its traditional tactics to put public pressure on the negotiation process, including by using certain public statements,” remarked Mykhailo Podoliak.
Earlier president of the aggressor country Volodymyr Putin said that the talks with Ukraine are at a “dead-end”.
Minister of International Affairs Serhii Lavrov voiced the idea that the draft of an agreement with russia presented by Ukraine on the eve of talks “contains a derogation of the provisions registered at the meeting in Istanbul.”
