"Moscow" set on fire

The rocket cruiser “Moscow” was set on fire by Ukrainian Neptune rocket. The well-known message by border guards of Snake Island to the russian warship successfully accomplished.

The missile cruiser "Moscow" was damaged by Ukrainian anti-ship cruise missile "Neptune". 

The ship is currently on fire in the Sevastopol Bay, according to a well-known volunteer Alexander Karpyuk.

This information was also confirmed by the Head of the Odesa Military Administration Maxym Marchenko.

"We can confirm now that the Moscow missile cruiser did exactly what our border guards on Snake Island told them to do”, - he wrote. "The Neptune missiles, guarding the Black Sea area, have caused very serious damage to the russian warship."

The cruiser "Moscow" carries artillery, anti-aircraft, anti-submarine and mine-torpedo weapons. It also carries sixteen P-1000 Vulkan anti-ship missile systems with advanced targeting technology capable of flying up to 1,000 km. It also carries on board one Ka-27 military helicopter.

Neptune is a Ukrainian anti-ship cruise missile developed by the Luch Design Bureau. In 2020 it was adopted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The system is designed to defeat surface warships and transport vessels with a displacement of up to 5,000 tons, either in convoys or moving individually.

The rocket has a subsonic speed (900 km / h) and is able to fly at low altitudes – only a few meters above sea level. The missile can glide a distance of 280 km.

On 24 March, another russian warship “Saratov” was destroyed in the Port of Berdyansk by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
