Because of russians’ shelling Donbas dwellers have no water

Because of russians’ shelling the dwellers of the temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions have no water.

Liudmyla Denisova, a parliament commissioner for human rights, told about that.

The russian artillery damaged the 3rd lift of the conduit of the Siverskyy Donets-Donbas Channel. The towns such as Horlivka, Donetsk, Khartsyzk, and many others were left without water supply.

Because of the enemy shelling there has been no power at the pumping station of the 1st lift of the Pivdenno-Donbaskyy conduit for a long time.

The occupation authorities do not let the maintenance crew restore the water supply in the region.

In the Luhansk region the russian shell hit an electrical substation that supplies energy to the pumping stations, providing water to the central districts of Lysychansk as well as to the towns of Novodruzhesk and Pryvillia. As of now, the substation has no power and, consequently, there is no centralized water supply in the towns.

According to the Pentagon, russia has 85 battalion tactical groups on the territory of Ukraine. Most of them are in Donbas.

On 18 April 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed that russian troops started the battle for Donbas which they had been preparing for a long time and for which they had concentrated a significant part of their army for the attack in the east of Ukraine.

According to the National Defense and Security Council, the russians wanted to invade the whole Donetsk and Luhansk regions by the Orthodox Easter. They were trying to make a present for vladimir putin in such a way.
