The General Staff of the UAF (Armed Forces of Ukraine) has released a report on the Russian invasion as of 06.00 on 29.04.2022.
In the temporarily occupied territories, the russian occupation authorities continue to take measures of movement restriction and detention of residents and blocking humanitarian aid coming from the territory of Ukraine. In addition, the russian occupiers are stealing from residents of the villages. For example, more than 60 tons of wheat were stolen from an agricultural enterprise in the town of Kamianka-Dniprovska, together with transportation means.
The russian enemy continues offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone to establish complete control over the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and maintain the ground corridor with the temporarily occupied Crimea.
In the Volyn and Polissya area, the enemy did not take active actions, and no signs of the formation of offensive forces were found. Nevertheless, certain units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus continue to perform tasks on strengthening the protection of the state border with Ukraine.
No changes in the activities and force composition of the enemy group were detected in the Siversk area.
In the Slobozhanshchyna area, the enemy continues to focus its efforts on maintaining its positions near the city of Kharkiv and is trying to conduct fire for effect on units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in certain areas.
The russians did not conduct active offensive operations in the Izium area. Their primary efforts were focused on conducting reconnaissance, identifying the defense positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine units, and getting them with artillery fire.
In the Donetsk and Tavriya areas, to prevent the regrouping of Ukrainian troops, the russians fire at our positions with artillery, mortars, and multiple launch rocket systems along the entire line of confrontation.
The russian occupiers continue to blockade our units in Mariupol, near the "Azovstal" plant.
During the day, Ukrainian defenders hit fifteen air targets: one aircraft, five cruise missiles, and nine tactical drones.
Ukrainian defenders are actively maneuvering and counterattacking in some areas; in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions alone, they fought back nine enemy attacks in the past 24 hours; they destroyed six russian tanks, and one artillery system, twelve armored vehicles, one military vehicle, and one anti-aircraft gun.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine accused russia of continuing "the work of Stalinists and Nazis" after deputies of the Krasnoyarsky Krai Council suggested taking grain out illegally from the territory of the Kherson region.
