Zelenskyy awarded twelve Ukrainian defenders with the Order "Golden Star"

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded twelve Ukrainian defenders with the Order "Golden Star." Three more heroes were awarded postmortem. This was announced by the President during the evening briefing.

"Today, in the White Hall of Heroes of Ukraine in the Mariinsky Palace, I presented awards to our defenders and family members of the fallen soldiers. Order "Golden Star" received Heroes of Ukraine: Lieutenant Colonel Serhii Burkovskyy, Captain Vitalii Hural, Senior Lieutenant Dmytro Dozirchyy, Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Zuhravyy, Colonel Dmytro Kaschenko, Major Oleksandr Kurkuba, Captain Oleh Pasichnyk, Lieutenant Colonel Viacheslav Tsyhankov, Colonel of the Medical service Oleksandr Sliesarenko, Lieutenant Colonel Leonid Khoda, Colonel Denys Chaiuk, and Lieutenant General Serhii Naiev’, - President reported.

In addition, three militaries were awarded postmortem by the President. The awards were given to the families of the military Sergeant Volodymyr Baliuk, Master Sergeant Oleksandr Tsyupak, and Major Pavlo Sbytov.

Earlier, yesterday, on April 28, Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded 214 Ukrainian defenders with state awards, 14 of them were awarded postmortem.
