Russians threaten repressions to inhabitants of the occupied territories for refusal to receive “citizenship” of pseudo-republic

In occupied Sorokine, Luhansk Region, russians have begun issuing "LPR" passports to Ukrainians who have been relocated from recently occupied territories.

People deprived of homes, property, and funds are forced to agree, because that's the only way they can get food kits and medical care, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“Preventive talks are being held with people. It is reported that in case of refusal to acquire the citizenship of the pseudo-republic - people will lose all means of subsistence and repressive measures will be applied to them”, the intelligence officers said.

Most of the so-called law enforcement officers in the CADLR were sent to the war against Ukraine in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, and Kherson regions. The “recruits” who were recruited instead have no service experience.

“Because of this, in particular, from May 1, the patrol units of the “People's Militia of the People's Republic of Luhansk” are forced to stop checks of private vehicles and personal documents at checkpoints near Sorokine”, the intelligence added.

We are reminding, that in temporarily occupied areas troops of the russian federation terrorize the local population: set fire at houses, rob, kidnap and hold civilians hostages, are engaged in looting. They also deport people to russia or to CADLR.
