Ukrainian army regains control over five settlements in Kharkiv Region

Russian units are still present in belarus, and the operational group of the invaders in Transdniestria is in full combat readiness.

After the offensive, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to restore control over the settlements of Aleksandrivka, Fedorivka, Ukrainka, Shestakovo, Peremoha, and a part of the village of Cherkasskyi Tyshki in the Kharkiv region.

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Kharkiv region, the invaders block certain remote settlements, and intensively fire at the positions of Ukrainian defenders, using multiple launch rocket systems.

"Also, the enemy had an offensive in the direction of the village of Nova Dmytrivka, but had no success," the General Staff noted.

As of 18.00 on May 6, the situation in other directions is as follows:

· The most intense activity of the occupiers is still observed in the Slobozhanshchyna and Donetsk directions.

· In Volyn and Polissia directions, the invaders did not take any active actions. 

· The armed forces of belarus continue to perform tasks of covering the Ukrainian-belarusian border in the Brest and Gomel regions. The country still has russian army units consisting of up to eight launchers of the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems and up to six aircraft of various modifications. Equipment can be involved in air and missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine.

· Near crossing points of the Ukrainian-russian border in the Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod regions, the russians carried out engineering arrangements of their positions. 

"According to information available, in the village of Kyntsi, Bryansk region, units of the 144th motorized rifle division of the 20th combined arms army of the western military district are conducting combat coordination in order to further participate in combat operations on the territory of Ukraine," the General Staff said.

· In the Slobozhanshchyna direction, russia continues to build up its troops. Russian units from the eastern military district continue moving from the Urazovo point in the Belgorod region to the territory of Ukraine.

· In the Donetsk and Tavriya directions, the invaders carry out attacks along the entire contact line in order to restrict the actions of Ukrainian units. 

 · In the Liman direction, the enemy conducted assault operations in the direction of the village of Shandryholove. 

 · In Severodonetsk, the invaders tried to establish control over the settlements of Rubizhne and Voevodivka, but were unsuccessful. 

· In the Popasna direction, the invaders conducted assault operations in the direction of the settlement of Nizhne. 

 · In the Avdiivka and Kurakhovo directions, the russians fired at the positions of units of the Ukrainian defense forces.

 · In Mariupol, the invaders focused their main efforts on blocking and defeating Ukrainian defenders' units in the Azovstal area. In the direction of the village of Prechystivka (Donetsk region), the invaders conducted reconnaissance in battle but had no success, so they retreated.

 · In the Pivdennyi Bug direction, the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations, only fired at the positions of the Ukrainian troops and focused on holding the occupied lines, replenishing ammunition and conducting engineering arrangements of the positions.

 · In Transnistria, the personnel of the operational group of russian troops is in full combat readiness.

"The enemy continues to suffer significant losses in personnel and equipment.

According to information available, in the psychiatric hospital of the village of Malotokmatskyi, Rostov region, partially given for use by the armed forces of the russian federation, there are up to 800 wounded and up to 200 bodies of dead enemy servicemen," the General Staff added.

The russian troops and the troops of the "lnr" are trying to storm Severodonetsk from several directions, the city is almost surrounded. 

According to the head of the Luhansk region, Voevodivka and Popasnaare the hottest spots in the region. The latter is not completely captured by the russians.

During the ceasefire, on the territory of the Azovstal plant, the russians, using anti-tank missile complex, hit a car that was moving toward civilians in order to evacuate them from the territory of the plant.
