The United States will provide Ukraine with another security support package, which will include artillery ammunition, radars and other equipment, - said in the US President Joe Biden statement, published on the White House website.
"Today, the United States continues to provide strong support to the courageous people of Ukraine who are defending their country. I am announcing another security support package that will provide Ukraine with additional artillery ammunition, radars and other equipment," - Biden said.
He emphasized that the United States has promptly provided Ukraine with the historic volume of security support. At the same time, the President noted that the funding for sending aid to Ukraine is almost exhausted.
"With today's announcement, my administration has almost exhausted funding that can be used to send security support to Ukraine through reduction powers. For Ukraine to succeed in this next phase of the war, its international partners, including the United States, must continue to demonstrate our unity and our determination to ensure the uninterrupted flow of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine. The Congress must quickly provide the funding needed to strengthen Ukraine on the battlefield and at the negotiating table," - he said.
