According to official data from juvenile prosecutors, on the morning of May 16, 650 children were injured in the russian war in Ukraine. The deaths of 229 and the injury of at least 421 children have been confirmed.
Currently, most children are affected in Donetsk [140], Kyiv [116] and Kharkiv [100] regions, - the Office of the Prosecutor General informs.
Over the past 24 hours, the authorities have established the facts of the deaths of two children.
It became known that on March 8 as a result of air strike by the russian troops on Mariupol of Donetsk region the 15-year-old girl died, and on March 18 the 16-year-old teenager passed away because of the shelling of the city by occupiers.
In addition, it was established that on May 14 due to the enemy's shelling of the village a 15-year-old boy was injured in Lebyazhe, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region.
A 15-year-old boy from Lysychansk, who was injured as a result of russia's shelling of a hospital in Severodonetsk, was taken to a children's hospital in Dnipro yesterday.
