The russian occupiers fired missiles at Dnipro city. One of the missiles was shot down by the air defense systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the other hit the transport infrastructure, - announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration [RMA] Valentyn Reznichenko.
As a result, a woman was injured, buildings were damaged and destroyed.
"May 18. 07:25 am. Anxious night and restless morning. Enemy attack on the Dnipro," - the statement reads.
Reznichenko clarified that the wreckage of the missile downed by the air defense fell on a private yard. As a result, a woman was injured. Two houses were also damaged.
"Another missile hit the transport infrastructure object. It was destroyed," the head of the RMA said.
The president Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared that russia can't show success by all-military actions in those directions where it tries to advance, therefore try to show success at the expense of the missiles and other activity.
