The eighty-fourth day of heroic opposition to the russian military invasion began. The enemies are firing rounds along the entire contact line and in the depths of the defense of Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk operational area and the Sloviansk area, taking measures to strengthen the offensive grouping.
The General Staff of the UAF wrote about it in the morning report.
In other areas, the enemies' primary efforts are to maintain the previously occupied frontiers, conduct reconnaissance, equip positions with an engineering means, replenish stocks, and improve their tactical situation. At the same time, russian invaders continue to launch missile strikes on military and civilian infrastructure objects throughout Ukraine.
In the Volyn, Polissia, and Siversk areas, the units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus are conducting tasks on strengthening the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in the Brest and Homel regions. Nevertheless, the threat of missiles and airstrikes from the territory of Belarus remains.
"To demonstrate their presence and restrain Ukrainian Defense Forces, the enemies continue to maintain units of the russian Armed Forces in the border areas of the Briansk and Kursk regions. Moreover, in some areas, the enemies strengthen the air defense system and equip positions with an engineering means," - reports the General Staff.
Russia continues to fire artillery rounds on the positions of Ukrainian troops and objects of civilian infrastructure in the border municipalities of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
In the Kharkiv area, the enemies focused on maintaining their positions and preventing the further advance of Ukrainian troops. The aggressors are shelling the municipalities of Tsyrkuny, Ruski Tyshky, Cherkaski Tyshky, and the Pytomnyk.
In the Sloviansk area, the enemies are conducting an offensive on the village of Dovhenke. The russians deployed MLRS and artillery units to support the offensive in this area. To provide logistics support and replenish the units that suffered losses, the aggressors move weapons and military equipment from the territory of the rf.
In the Donetsk area, the enemies continue their offensive in the Lyman, Sievierodonetsk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Kurakhiv areas.
In the Lyman area, the enemies conducted an offensive to establish complete control over the municipality of Drobysheve and blockade Lyman from the north.
In the Bakhmut and Sievierodonetsk areas, the russian aggressors keep up to fifteen helicopters in the Luhansk region to support the offensive.
In Mariupol, the enemies are focusing their efforts on blocking Ukrainian units near the "Azovstal" plant. The russians continue to launch artillery and airstrikes.
In the Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia areas, the enemies reinforce their grouping to conduct an offensive in the direction of Polohy - Orikhiv.
In the Pivdennyi Buh area, the russian enemies focus their primary efforts on maintaining the occupied frontiers, conducting reconnaissance and equipping positions with an engineering means. They also fire rounds on the positions of Ukrainian troops.
In the Mykolaiv area, to inflict fire damage on Ukrainian troops, the russian occupiers deployed up to ten sets of MLRSs and up to eight sets of barrel artillery.
In the Kryvyi Rih area, the russian troops conducted demonstrations to bind Ukrainian troops, improve engineering means and replenish supplies.
In the Bessarabia area, the situation in the Transnistria region of the Republic of Moldova remains tense and has not undergone significant changes.
The ships of the russian Black Sea Fleet in the Black and Azov Seas continue to perform tasks of isolation of the war actions area, reconnaissance, and fire support in the coastal area.
On the previous day, the air defense units of the Ground Forces hit ten UAVs of tactical level, and air defense missile units of the Air Forces destroyed one more UAV and four cruise missiles. On the previous day in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukrainian militaries fought back 12 russian attacks; they destroyed three tanks, three artillery systems, six armored combat vehicles, and seven enemy vehicles.
