A delegation from Chechnya arrived in Mariupol on May 17.
This was reported in the Mariupol City Council.
"Apparently, the city will be given control to Kadyrovites. The security forces will mostly come from there. That's how the russians want to keep the rebellious city. For the occupiers, all 100,000 residents are nationalists. Because there are no good Ukrainians. And the fact that the residents did not come out to celebrate on May 9, only confirmed the maximum disloyalty to the occupying power," the Council said.
City officials say the russians are "tightening the screws": civilian men are being taken en masse to filtration camps and held there.
"The occupiers are nervous, and the time of the liberation of Mariupol is constantly approaching," the City Council said.
Now the Adviser to the Mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko already reported that occupiers are going to give patronage in "restoration" of the city to Kadyrovites. This will be done to intimidate and suppress resistance.
On May 16, the media reported that the satellite had already recorded the fourth mass burial site in occupied Mariupol.
