Russian occupiers continue to abduct residents of the temporarily occupied districts of the Zaporizhia region, as of May 17, 117 residents of the region are being held hostage by the occupiers.

This was reported by the Zaporizhia RMA.

«In the Zaporizhia region, the occupiers continue to abduct Ukrainian citizens. As of the evening of May 17, 2022, 280 people were held hostage by the occupiers. 163 of them were released and 117 continue to be held hostage», the statement said.

RMA reminds us that in order to get on the exchange lists, you need to report their data to the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration hotline by calling 0 800 503 508 or providing information about the abducted person by filling out a google form.

Russians kidnapped more than 120 people in the Kherson region. Among them are representatives of local self-government bodies, heads of territorial communities, clergy, members of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) / Joint Forces Operation, journalists and other civilians.
