As of the morning of May 19, more than 658 children were injured in the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
According to official juvenile prosecutors, 231 children were killed and more than 427 injured.
Most children were affected in Donetsk (144), Kyiv (116) and Kharkiv (100) regions.
Thus, on May 17, the enemy shelled again the town of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. As a result of a missile attack on a residential building, children aged 9, 12 and 17 were seriously injured. On May 18, rescuers found the body of a 2-year-old child under the wreckage of a destroyed house.
It also became known that a 17-year-old girl died as a result of shelling by the occupiers of the civilian infrastructure of the city of Polohy, Zaporizhia region.
On May 16 on the highway in the Mykolaiv region eight people, among which the 5-year-old girl, exploded on a mine. All of them received more or less serious injuries.
