Within 24 hours, Ukraine's Air Defense Units hit five enemy air targets. The Command of the Air Forces of the UAF (Armed Forces of Ukraine) reported it.

The Air Defense Units of the Ground Forces struck two UAVs: "Orlan-10" and "Zala."

Another tactical UAV, "Orlan-10," and one cruise missile were destroyed by the SAM units

of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Another unknown target (probably an enemy helicopter, information to be clarified) was also hit.

"Ukrainian fighters are patrolling the airspace in the territory controlled by the Armed Forces. The Air Forces strike aircraft has once again struck at the accumulation of military vehicles, equipment, personnel, and other enemy objects," - says the statement.

Thus, as a result of airstrikes, at least 20 armored combat vehicles were destroyed.

Kharkiv residents reported a missile strike on the Kyiv district of the city.

On 17 May 2022, Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna said that the risk of missile strikes remained over the whole territory of Ukraine, but Ukraine's Air Defense Forces became stronger on 24 February 2022.
