The russian military intensified air reconnaissance using unmanned aircraft vehicles in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported.
It's about the territories of Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Liubymivka Uspenivka, Pryiutne, and Zelenyy Hai.
Besides, the occupiers are actively carrying out engineering works and building fortifications to go on defence if necessary. Also, the enemy military equipment columns' movement is being documented.
The enemy has shelled civil infrastructure in the districts of the settlements Olhivske, Zatyshshia, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, and Kamyanske.
In Huliaipole, the occupiers were firing at the city from MLRS "Grad" and destroyed a historical building of the Mielieshkovs family located on Soborna street.
Besides, the russian military keeps shelling the civil infrastructure of Orikhiv. Therefore, the enemy destroyed a school and the building of the city executive committee – an old and beautiful building.
On 12 May, around 10 a.m., russian forces launched a cruise missile at Zaporizhzhya that hit a reservation area of Khortytsia island.
